Construction Features

1 Aspen Maple Core

Aspen Maple Core

Made from the highest quality Aspen and Maple Canada has to offer, these cores are loaded with unwavering energy and pop. These pure hardwood cores don’t just guarantee a smooth damp right, but also provide long lasting durability and incredible binding retention.

2 Poplar Core

Poplar Core

We vertically laminate the highest quality poplar to form a smooth flex throughout the entire length of the ski, ensuring a crisp damp ride even in firm conditions. This lightweight hardwood is incredibly durable and resilient, making it the perfect construction for hard charging all mountain skis.

3 Titanal Laminate

Titanal Laminate

By using edge to edge titanal laminate to sandwich our wood cores, we increase the torsional rigidity of the ski without sacrificing liveliness. This addition to the core adds significant dampness and responsiveness to the ski, increasing its capabilities in variable conditions and stability at high speeds.

4 Carbon Fiber

Carbon Fiber

When stability and energy are a must and weight is a factor, we add pre stretched carbon fiber stringers to the core. Far superior to the flex and pop of traditional fiberglass, carbon fiber gives you the liveliness you want at a weight that keeps your skis feeling light on your feet. These

5 Neotip

After experimenting for years in the Whiteroom, we discovered that the addition of a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski drastically reduced chatter, increased overall damping, and helped eliminate frustrating tip delamination.

6 UHMW Sidewalls

UHMW Sidewalls

A incredibly resilient and durable polyethylene sidewall material that absorbs vibrations from firm snow and big impacts. The polyethylene characteristics of the Ultra High Molecular Weight actually diverts impact energy and disperses it rather than cracking like standard sidewalls.

7 Sintered Base

Sintered Base

This premium base material is known in the ski industry as ‘Race Base’ because it is fast AF! Integrated with carbon to further strengthen its gliding properties these 1.4 mm base are tough as can be, to ensure you go fast season after season.

Rippin' *** Skis

The graphics are sexy. No one can look at the skis and not say something about how good lookin they are. They are RIPPERS nice and stiff and really powerful. They have definitely transformed my downhill and are great for backcountry chauce. If you're looking for a more playful flexy ski, or a lighter touring ski I would direct you elsewhere. However I do use my MSP CC's for everything; I threw a pair of kingpins on there so that I can tour on them, but I also wear them on area, for coaching and for free-skiing. They are certainly versatile and have held up this season in the N San Juan snow conditions. I have no complaints!

My wife loves the way they look and is still getting used to them. We ski in Maine and have lots of ice/hard pack. She seems to really like them so far, but does feel a little less stable at high speeds and in icy conditions. Obviously, that is not what they are geared toward, but seems to do well anyway. She is coming from an aggressive, narrow waisted carver, so the adjustment is to be expected. Again, she loves the graphics and is still getting used to them but is super excited for new areas of the mountain she will begin to explore on them. She wanted a ski that could handle bumps, powder, and tree runs better. I think she found it!
