For the past two seasons we have been hard at work re-engineering the MSP 99 in order to take our most award winning ski to new heights! In its first season, Ski Magazine and Outside Magazine have already awarded the re-engineered 99 as ‘Best Of’ in the All Mountain category. We took the 99’s award winning DNA, updated the core composition and fine tuned the skis performance for quicker turn initiation and even more energy. These improvements inspire you to elevate your skills, giving you even more confidence in any sort of condition.

Construction Features

1 Aspen Maple Core

The highest quality Aspen and Maple Canada has to offer, these cores are loaded with unmatched energy. Our pure hardwood cores guarantee a smooth damp ride, long lasting durability and incredible binding retention.

2 Titanal Laminate

Edge to edge titanal laminate sandwiches our wood core, increasing torsional rigidity without sacrificing liveliness. This addition to the core adds significant dampness and responsiveness to the ski, increasing performance in variable conditions.

3 Vulcanized Rubber Tip Fill

Known as a Vibration Damping System, our rubber tip material quiets the chatter that results from skiing in firm or bumped up terrain.

4 UHMW Sidewalls

A incredibly resilient and durable polyethylene sidewall material that absorbs vibrations from firm snow and big impacts. The polyethylene characteristics of the Ultra High Molecular Weight actually diverts impact energy and disperses it rather than cracking like standard sidewalls.

5 Sintered Base

This premium base material is known in the ski industry as ‘Race Base’ because it is fast AF! Integrated with carbon to further strengthen its gliding properties these 1.4 mm base are tough as can be.

Only used once but feel great so far.

With the warm weather we have had I have only been able to take them out once this year. They handled the wet snow quite nicely. Hopefully, the temperature drops soon so I can get a full day of skiing on them.

My 2nd pair of MSPs

I got my first MSP99s in 2017. I live in the east and ski in Utah 2 weeks a year. They have been the perfect ski for all conditions. I was afraid to change brands because the MSPs have done so well. The updated MSP lives up to the billing. They feel quicker edge to edge and I get more rebound in moguls without feeling I am getting bucked out. The edge hold on firm conditions is incredible. Initiate the carve with a little forward pressure on the boot and you'll be rewarded with beautiful arcs all the way down the run. Take them in boot deep powder and blast right through. I am 5'9" 190 and ski the 176. It's the perfect length for stability but not too long for the bumps and occasional ventures into the trees.

MSP 99

Super intuitive ski, has great float. Skis well slow, fast, and everywhere in between. Beautiful top sheets are always a bonus.

Never skied better!

I came of age skiing in NM; Taos, SantaFe, Los Alamos. Got tired of working so hard on long racing skis and essentially stopped. Got “modern” skis in 2005, which were vastly better, but not enough to entice more than a few ski days a season. MSP 99s have changed all that! I’m 61 and never been as confident on all terrain, especially off-piste (crud in the old days). I was pleasantly surprised how much easier it is when you stay atop the snow and can turn almost at will in steep trees. Plus, I don’t feel I gave up any stability; groomers are more fun than ever, holding nice carved esses as tight or long as I want. I’m so glad I tried 4FRNT!
