Previously known as the KYE 95, this model features the most narrow waistline in the Uptrack Series but didn’t take away any of its ability to outperform its wider counterparts. The extended taper and rocker tip shape float in the widest variety of snow conditions while keeping the skier forward on the tips. With the lowest tail height in its class, the 95’s extended running surface and shorter turn radius make this the “best in class” for the Uptrack Series in firm to variable conditions. When looking for a lightweight solution to an everyday all mountain or touring ski, the Arete is your shape.
"Much more impressive when using it than when you see it, its peculiar shape and geometries respond exceptionally well once on the snow. A highly versatile ski with an immediate feeling, it can be used everyday and will suit all winter conditions. A one-ski quiver for expert riders, as long as they are fit and young at heart. It is stable on a hard terrain and on piste, where its precision hitting an angle will impress, though it does excel off-piste and on soft snow: it is progressive, balanced and always responsive. Considering its underfoot width, its float is astounding: the plank will fluctuate and run on top much more than other fatter models."
