Construction Features

1 Aspen Maple Core

Aspen Maple Core

Made from the highest quality Aspen and Maple Canada has to offer, these cores are loaded with unwavering energy and pop. These pure hardwood cores don’t just guarantee a smooth damp right, but also provide long lasting durability and incredible binding retention.

2 Carbon Fiber

Carbon Fiber

When stability and energy are a must and weight is a factor, we add pre stretched carbon fiber stringers to the core. Far superior to the flex and pop of traditional fiberglass, carbon fiber gives you the liveliness you want at a weight that keeps your skis feeling light on your feet. These

3 Neotip

Neotip

After experimenting for years in the Whiteroom, we discovered that the addition of a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski drastically reduced chatter, increased overall damping, and helped eliminate frustrating tip delamination.

4 UHMW Sidewalls

UHMW Sidewalls

A incredibly resilient and durable polyethylene sidewall material that absorbs vibrations from firm snow and big impacts. The polyethylene characteristics of the Ultra High Molecular Weight actually diverts impact energy and disperses it rather than cracking like standard sidewalls.

5 Sintered Base

Sintered Base

This premium base material is known in the ski industry as ‘Race Base’ because it is fast AF! Integrated with carbon to further strengthen its gliding properties these 1.4 mm base are tough as can be, to ensure you go fast season after season.

Rippah!!

These skis are exactly what I expected them to be. It's been a ****** of a year. I've had these mounted for a month but haven't ridden anything but fat skis since the start of December. We had a storm come through two days ago and really cold temps. 10" of pow under a 2" crust. I was anxious to ski the Switch so I grabbed them from the truck instead of the pow sticks. It went about how I expected. They performed fine for a 100mm UF, mostly camber, ski. Keep the tips up and balanced and they worked fine, but they were a lot of work. I would go with the Dev's if pow and easy pivot is your thing. Once out of the pow, they shined. I'm not a heavy guy (6' 160lbs). I don't ski anything with metal. That said, these are not noodles. They are plenty stiff and damp. The runout from a favorite bowl of mine usually beats me up on my soft, all wood, sticks. These blew through the chop like it wasn't there. Amazingly damp for what they are. Groomers, park, and spring skiing are what I bought these for, and for that, they crush. The long effective edge gives monster edge hold and that aforementioned stiffness mean they hold up amazingly at speed. A couple of the team kids were practicing GS turns on their race skis and I was able to fall right into line with them. They are a ripper of a center mounted ski. OK, one small complaint, I guess.... The tails are hooky. Not unexpected for a mostly camber, center mount, twin. I just got finished running a gummy stone over the last 6" of edge. I belt that smooths things out. Overall, a great ski. Very well could be a dedicated park ski. Easily rips groomers. Sold in moguls except for the long-ish tails (you could size down on these pretty easily). Not a pow ski unless you are a 1 ski quiver kinda shredder. Perfect quiver: these, Dev's and Ren's = Baller. FWIW, I'm on a 184 and perfectly happy.

Playful all-mountain skis

After renting my whole life, I just bought these as my first pair of skis. They feel light, nimble, and playful, and the artwork turns heads. I love them! Although these are sold as "free ride" skis they are also simply great all-mountain skis for someone like me who doesn't do tricks, but does like to challenge themselves with the terrain and drop into glades.

I have skied the Switch in big mountains and also east cost skiing. The Switch is great skiing both in powder and groomers. Love the ski!
