Welcome to the 4FRNT team Siver Voll!

We could not be more hyped to introduce Norwegian slayer, Siver Voll, to the 4FRNT team! Siver has been crushing the park game for years now with his insanely technical rail skiing, with insanely good style. He has more NBD's than Jordan has championship rings, and there's no sign of him slowing down.

Our friends over at Newschoolers.com did an interview with him about what he is up to, and what skiing for a brand like 4FRNT means to him.

Interview by Twig Spensley of newschoolers.com

When it comes to underrated pros, Siver Voll has to be right up there. He's the kind of guy that no matter the rail, he will find a way to do a harder trick than you ever thought imaginable. From street rails to jib league features, he manages to turn the dial to 11. If you think back to the end of season carnage that was the Geilo tube sessions, he was mixing it up with the absolute best skiers on the planet. Yet despite his prodigious talent, he has been in sponsorship purgatory since Movement imploded their team last season.

Jake Doan, recently instated as marketing manager of 4FRNT, certainly noticed. He sent Siver a couple of pairs of Devastators last winter to try out and the rest, as they say, is history. Today sees Siver officially added to the brand, the latest in their legacy of supporting ripping Scandinavians. We caught up with Siver for a quick Q+A to find out more.

What up Siver? Today sees you officially joining 4FRNT, but we’ve seen you rocking the Devastators for a little while now. How did you end up on that ski and then what was the process of joining the team?

Jake Doan reached out to me at the start of the past season about my ski setup and asked if I’d be interested in trying 4FRNT. I tried a bunch of different skis, but out of all of them, 4FRNT was the best match. I mostly skied on the Devastators — they’re a dope ski that’s wide with a rocker, which makes them really playful for all kinds of riding and definitely fit my style really well.

4FRNT and Scandinavia have a long history, were you aware of the brand and team back then?

Yeah, I definitely knew about 4FRNT growing up. CR. Johnson was a big influence when I was a kid and it's a brand I've always been stoked on. I'm gassed up to join the team.

With Stinus also part of the squad, it's a new era of that legacy.. are you gonna be joining him in the big mountains?

Stinus is a sick skier doing his own thing — big shoutout to him. Nothing planned at the moment, but it’d be really cool to get out in the mountains with him sometime in the future

Its been a while since we were sharing a room in Zermatt, are you still skiing full time? Where are you based these days?

Those were the days, it was sick to shred that park every day with you and Andrey. But yeah, I'm skiing full time during the winter. And I'm based in my hometown Geilo, Norway. I'm also out hunting street spots as much as I can.

The news of you joining the squad comes with a street part coming soon. How long have you been been filming that, and with who?

I did some filming here and there this season. I got in a few good trips and I'm stoked with what we were able to get. So yeah, I've got a video coming out soon. I filmed with Aleksander Kongelf and Øystein Bråten, and Magnus (Skotte-Norstreng) is editing it.

What have you got planned for this season?

*Laughs* it's too soon to give the game away, but I have some projects planned... you will have to wait and see. I do have a new pro kit with Lead Fabrics dropping November 1st though. We made some small adjustments from last years jackets. And there will be some new colors as well.
