The name says it all. The Devastator has become a highlight in the 4FRNT family because of its uncanny ability to destroy terrain on sight. Its award winning multi-radius rocker profile empowers you to surf powder effortlessly and pivot on a dime to navigate tight terrain. This modern freeride shape allows the sidecut geometry to work in unison with the pre-bent rocker shape, giving you the performance of camber on firmer snow. Combo this with ample pop, comfortable swing weight, and unwavering stability and you have a freeride weapon that never sacrifices performance, no matter the conditions or terrain.

Construction Features

1 Aspen Maple Core

Aspen Maple Core

Made from the highest quality Aspen and Maple Canada has to offer, these cores are loaded with unwavering energy and pop. These pure hardwood cores don’t just guarantee a smooth damp ride, but also provide long lasting durability and incredible binding retention.

2 Carbon Fiber

Carbon Fiber

When stability and energy are a must and weight is a factor, we add pre stretched carbon fiber stringers to the core. Far superior to the flex and pop of traditional fiberglass, carbon fiber gives you the liveliness you want at a weight that keeps your skis feeling light on your feet. These

3 Neotip

After experimenting for years in the Whiteroom, we discovered that the addition of a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski drastically reduced chatter, increased overall damping, and helped eliminate frustrating tip delamination.

4 UHMW Sidewalls

UHMW Sidewalls

A incredibly resilient and durable polyethylene sidewall material that absorbs vibrations from firm snow and big impacts. The polyethylene characteristics of the Ultra High Molecular Weight actually diverts impact energy and disperses it rather than cracking like standard sidewalls.

5 Sintered Base

This premium base material is known in the ski industry as ‘Race Base’ because it is fast AF! Integrated with carbon to further strengthen its gliding properties these 1.4 mm base are tough as can be, to ensure you go fast season after season.

Great ski

Fun ski that turn surprisingly well in all types of terrain. Not the best all around ski ever but I am very happy with it

Go buy, right now

Purchased these during a sale. Had my eye on these puppies for a while, and all I can say is wow. I was a touch nervous for it being my first reverse camber ski, but my confidence in my abilities skyrocket only after a few runs. I came from Rossi Soul 7s, and these blow them out of the water. Stable through crud and on groomers, smash and turn through trees and moguls, and have enough float for to throw down in powder. Mainly skiied them in BC and Alberta. If you’re hesitant on buying a new pair of all-mountain skis, do yourself a favour and buy these puppies

Most maneuverable ski on the market

I bought these in a 186 which is quite long for me and they feel just as poppy playful and snappy as my 180s. The rocker definitely takes a bit of getting used to when laying carves but once it clicks these things have no speed limit. My only issue would be durability on the tips and tails. Had to repair my tail with resin after only 3 days.

Survival of the wettest

Made in Canada, bought in the States, battle tested in the Pacific Northwest of British Columbia. El Niño made me do it in slushy goo, iced up packed powder, groomers, thawed packed powder, torrential rain, and the skis performed just great. So playful! I think I found my daily drivers for the next ten years.

I only skied one day on the devastator and I’m amazed! Skied in Fernie which had all kind conditions so got to put it on a test. First of all it only took a run or two to find the balance and flow. Secondly it was pure joy to ski. It is pivots on a dime so perfect for trees and glades. Great flow and control in packed powder. Stable and easy to control at the groomers despite slush and ice. Super maneuverable at both low and high speed. For sure my new daily driver when skiing the Rockies. Lastly huge shout out to 4frnt customer service and going above and beyond helping me find the perfect ski.
