Super light and easy to use
I'm going from Marker Baron and Marker Tour bindings so this is my first pair of pin bindings and I can honestly see what all the fuss is about. These things are amazing! So much lighter than my Marker bindings and the uphill and toe movement just feels so much more fluid with these. The DIN setting and ability to pop out incase of a slide or hidden tree stump is very nice to have as well. I've only used them a few times since winter got off to a slow start this year but so far I've been very impressed and would recommend these bindings for sure.
Even better than expected
I have been surprised how easy it is to step into the Rotation 12. Dynafit improved the toe piece so it stays put when you step in. They work great in walk mode, just like you would expect, and they ski great too.
Takes a little bit to figure out the binding, but overall great and gives me confidence wherever I’m at.
Wicked all purpose touring/soft snow binding!
After years of skiing the original radical binding (mounted to a pair of Hoji’s), all I can say is I can’t believe I waited this long to upgrade to the Rotation! My new Dynafit Rotation 12/Regenade setup is the perfect all purpose touring and soft snow set up. In my opinion the Rotation 12 combines the best elements of the old radical (reasonably light weight, ease of use) with the best qualities of the beast 14 (excellent release qualities and dampness due to the rotating toe and sliding heel). The ride quality of the Rotation 12 is noticeably better than the old radical, and feels nearly the same as the beast 14. The Rotation 12/Renegade combo is now my go to set up for “freeride” touring, or resort shredding in soft conditions.
Light and just right
Feels like they aren’t even there. Great option for a skier interested in getting into the back country and using lift service
