Details

The Hoji returns more hungry for powder than ever before. Equipped with our multi-radius rocker profile, you get the best balance of powder performance and firm snow capabilites, making it the most versatile powder ski on the market.

The 4-LOCK™ System works by inserting the self-locking skin strap through an inconspicuous hole in the tail, locking to the ski and eliminating frustrating gear failure forever.

The Pomoca skin weighs in at less than 240g per skin and folds up impossibly compact, saving you more weight on your feet and more space in your pack than any other set up on the market. It's simply the lightest, most reliable, and easiest to use skin system to date.

Neotip

After experimenting for years in the Whiteroom, we discovered that the addition of a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski drastically reduced chatter, increased overall damping, and helped eliminate frustrating tip delamination.

My new go-to

These took a few days to get used to since I’m coming from skis that are a lot more “traditional” (e.g. camber, traditional mount point, shorter radius) but now they’re my all-time favorite skis for soft-snow touring. They’re the perfect blend of playful and directional, and they love to be in the air whether it’s big drops or just small airs on mellow pow runs. I’d recommend sizing up (I’m 5’11, 170 lbs and I went with the 191) if you can justify the added weight and stability for touring. Speaking of touring, these things are super intuitive to tour on and the 4-lock system is genius. I’ve struggled with skin failure before but haven’t had even a little bit since being on these skis. All in all, these are the best skis I’ve been on and my new favorites for mid-winter pow hunting.

Too damn fresh for this planet

I’ve been skiing the Hoji 4locks on hut-based and single day missions this season and they’re ******. Would recommend if you want to get radical. Much love to all the 4frnt crew behind the scenes!

Best out there

This is by far the best set up for skins on the market.. pre trimmed for you size ski so no worries of butchering you skin before getting to use it! Easy to put on , easy to take off even with the purist pull, but also pretty impossible to kick the tail off while skinning. They have Superior glide coupled with great traction and fold up into a very tiny package for stuffing in your jacket. All around stoked on the skins!

Updated Hoji and Raven

I wasn't sure I was going to like the updated versions of the Hoji and Raven but after using them at work and touring they are fantastic. The Hoji skis longer at a shorter length which is great and makes it more nimble. If you were on the 187 before I'd highly recommend going down to the 184. Same for the Raven. The 4-lock system is really easy to use as well and I don't worry about the clip coming off on steep kick turns anymore. They both skis pretty well on groomers and in tracked out off-piste areas but they really shine in powder at full speed. These skis want you to go fast!
