There’s no doubt that the Renegade is the most badass powder weapon in the biz. Designed by the G.O.A.T, Eric Hjorleifson, the Renegade was engineered to conquer big lines and deep snow at a weight that still enables you to access terrain far out of the reach of the masses. It is extremely nimble yet solid and stable for those high speed gnarly descents. Did we mention it’s now available in an all new 177cm size? The Renegade comes equipped with our groundbreaking 4-LOCK System, which guarantees a carefree uphill experience by eliminating frustrating skin failure and excess weight. Click into the Renegade and buckle up for the ride of your life!

The 4-Lock™ system consists of an inconspicuous 12x9mm hole through the tail of the ski. By inserting the self-locking skin strap through this hole, the skin becomes locked to the ski, eliminating frustrating skin failure. The calculated placement of the hole reduces the skin length by up to 12% and has zero effect on the downhill performance of the ski. This reduced skin length weighs in at less than 240g per skin and folds up impossibly compact.
When stability and energy are a must and weight is a factor, we add pre stretched carbon fiber stringers to the core. Far superior to the flex and pop of traditional fiberglass, carbon fiber gives you the liveliness you want at a weight that keeps your skis feeling light on your feet. These
other skis fear it
Skis are something truly unique, super intuitive and yet they seemingly have no redline. Chargy and playful. Lots of qualities I though were mutually exclusive all blended into one. 4lock system is really awesome too, works great and keeps the weight reasonable.
It took me far too long to buy these skis. I was back and forth between 184 and 191, being 6' 160lbs. I was also indecisive about how I'd ski them and with which bindings. When the right deal came through for Duke PT16's it made the decision for me: I was going big, 191 all the way. When the skis showed (2 days later. RAD!!!) I stared at them and was worried that I went too big. It didn't take long for me to ski them. As I dropped them to be mounted it was absolutely nuking snow. Two days later and I was standing in line waiting for the chair to open. No joke, from turn one, I knew I'd made the right call. Straight fall line into a huge sideways drifted turn. Once the grin hit my face it lasted all day. Trees, drops, fall line, soft groomers back to the chair. I rode two resorts that day, coaching in the afternoon. Bell to bell. What a great ski. Along with what others have said: size up for a wicked stable ski with a crazy top end. They still turn and slither trees with the best of them. Now I'm stuck here reading Raven reviews and trying to decide which bindings I'll put on those. PT's, Shifts... Something lighter?? I feel like I could press the Raven into near daily duty. Anyway, don't hesitate like I did. Buy one of Hoji's skis. Maybe buy all of Hoji's skis. Size up if you're a strong skier and have any doubt. Enjoy!!
The ren is absolutely epic. First mounted on recommended line and liked but felt I could use more float when’s it’s cold, soft and deep. So I move the mount back and it’s bang on the money. I’m a bigger at 6’5 210 so I think the recommended line is a bit forward for someone my size anyway. That said, an even longer Ren than 191 would be ALL TIME. Small market for us talls but just had to say it. Warranty is money. Had a delam issue and 4Frnt replaced my ski no issues. Love it.
What are you waiting for!
Ok I haven’t skied it yet but the Hoji line, I own and ski on the Raven, Hoji, and now Renegade, ski as promised. 4Frnt skis are what you need and have been waiting for. Is there a line of skis that has won awards like 4Frnt? Nope, so what are you waiting for. I’m not going to get all technical. My Ravens and MSP107 are my go to ski most days. Add a few inches of pow and out come my Hoji’s! Add a foot and those Renegades are going to be killing it!
So fun to ski in any conditions! Stiff and fast but still playful, if you can't do it on renegades, you can't do it. Stoked!
