“Take the blood oath of the no camber cult ... once you unlock their secrets the reward will be yours,” a ski racer turned Teton ripper said of 4FRNT’s zero camber Hoji. Multiradius rocker—flat underfoot and gradually becoming more aggressive—aims to increase bite while maintaining float. “The ideal powder ski,” a playful freeskier said. “It makes four inches feel bottomless.” For skin attachment, the ski uses 4FRNT’s 4-LOCK SKIN SYSTEM, a small hole near the tail designed to not interfere with the dense aspen-and-maple core or the inlaid carbon- fiber stringers. “Easy skin attachment with a lighter, shorter skin arm,” one tester said. Though smaller folks noted a lack of forgiveness, a powerfully turning, 180-pound tester found the Hoji to be for “playful skiers looking to paint unique lines down the mountain.”
