'Better Late Than Never,' is an edit from one of the best seasons I've ever had. It was my first year shooting with Good Company and Level 1. Everything came together and I was in the right place at the right time; not to mention there were all-time conditions that year. It was also my first year of building my pro-model ski, the InThayne with 4FRNT. I finally got the hard drive to my good friend and editor, Michael Brown from Sweetgrass Productions who helped me finish the project.
The 2016/2017 season was the first year of building my pro-model the InThayne. It had always been a dream of mine to design my own pro-model, this was definitely a huge turning point in my skiing. I had already been building skis, and helping with ski development at 4FRNT for several years at that point so I had learned a lot.
"I wanted to build something that was freestyle savvy but wouldn't compromise my ability to ski big lines. I wanted to blend together the Devastator and the Renegade essentially."
At the time 4FRNT offered the Devastator and the Renegade, which are great skis, but I wanted to blend them together. I wanted to build something that was both freestyle savvy and wouldn't compromise my ability to ski big lines. It was awesome to go through the development process with my own ski and tweak it to be the perfect weapon for the skiing I love to do.
This is the 6th year of production for the InThayne, and i thought this edit would be a good ode ot the first year of the ski in action. Hope you enjoy.
