Construction Features

1 4-LOCK Skin Integration

The 4-Lock™ system consists of an inconspicuous 12x9mm hole through the tail of the ski. By inserting the self-locking skin strap through this hole, the skin becomes locked to the ski, eliminating frustrating skin failure. The calculated placement of the hole reduces the skin length by up to 12% and has zero effect on the downhill performance of the ski. This reduced skin length weighs in at less than 240g per skin and folds up impossibly compact.

2 Aspen Maple Core

Made from the highest quality Aspen and Maple Canada has to offer, these cores are loaded with unwavering energy and pop. These pure hardwood cores don’t just guarantee a smooth damp ride, but also provide long lasting durability and incredible binding retention.

3 Carbon Fiber

When stability and energy are a must and weight is a factor, we add pre stretched carbon fiber stringers to the core. Far superior to the flex and pop of traditional fiberglass, carbon fiber gives you the liveliness you want at a weight that keeps your skis feeling light on your feet. These

4 Neotip

After experimenting for years in the Whiteroom, we discovered that the addition of a Neoprene insert in the tip of the ski drastically reduced chatter, increased overall damping, and helped eliminate frustrating tip delamination.

5 Sintered Base

This premium base material is known in the ski industry as ‘Race Base’ because it is fast AF! Integrated with carbon to further strengthen its gliding properties these 1.4 mm base are tough as can be, to ensure you go fast season after season.

All the research brought me here... and it was totally right!

Last year after a lot of research, I decided to buy 4FrntHojis. I'm from the East Coast and was going to be skiing the Rockies and the West Coast for the winter while living in my car. I had planned to break out the skis once I got to Colorado but with a powder day right before I left Vermont, I got to use them. With only a couple of inches of snow, I was amazed at how they floated effortlessly. When I got out west and started to use them more often I fell in love and when there were just some leftovers or it hadn't snowed for a couple of days I couldn't put them down. I had some of the deepest days of my LIFE skiing in Utah's Cottonwood canyons and the skis made it so much fun! I have shift bindings on the skis and took them touring quite a few times, and I find it to be the perfect combo to ski inbounds and tour with stability confidence, and FLOAT. I ended up going back the the East in late May to ski Tuckerman's Ravine and I had no doubt in my mind that I would bring any other ski. The Hojis absolutely shredded! I love these skis, they have changed me and are the answer to the 1 Ski Quiver!

Killer boards.

Still on my mtb and praying to ullr for a deep winter. Just got the hoji 4-lk and the top sheet is so sick! Skied the eaven for a daily driver in the bc including a trip to La Grave and cham. I could not have been happier with that ski. Steep or deep it slayed. Looking forward to the hoji.

Canadian purchasers will pay duty

Haven’t skied them, although I’m sure they’ll be amazing! Less rocker than my old 109 G3 synaps, which is my favourite ski of all time but are certainly squirrelly on hard pack and a bucking bull in bumps. These should be better in both situations but Canadians should know you’ll have to pay duty on a ski designed by a a Canadian and fellow Canmoron.
